Recently, seventeen vocational education teachers from 12 Indonesian institutions have completed an eight-day intensive training program on "Digital Intelligent Accounting and Finance" at ZBTI in Ningbo. The program, held from June 22 to 29, was conducted under the framework of the China-Indonesia TVET Industry-Education Alliance, a premier bilateral platform that now brings together 117 Chinese institutions, 199 Indonesian institutions, and 28 enterprises.

The training employed a "four-dimensional" model combining expert lectures, enterprise practice, cultural immersion, and peer exchange. Participants engaged with cutting-edge topics including intelligent finance and taxation, RPA financial robots, and financial big data visualization. They also experienced AI-powered teaching tools, simulated cross-border livestreaming at the Ningbo (Qianyang) Livestreaming Center, and explored virtual reality applications in vocational education at the Ningbo Metaverse Industrial Park, gaining firsthand exposure to China's digital economy in action.

A distinctive highlight was the cultural immersion at the Huanggulin Grass Weaving Museum, where teachers traced the complete industrial chain of bulrush weaving from planting and harvesting to processing and product transformation, and practiced the ancient craft under the guidance of local artisans. "I thought it would be just a visit, but the moment I touched the bulrush and started weaving, I realized how delightful today's arrangement truly was," said Indonesian participant Dessy HandaSari.

At the closing ceremony, ZBTI's International Education College invited all participants to contribute to the internationalization of business and finance curricula. "We came as students, but we leave as colleagues," remarked Titi Suhartati, the Indonesian delegation leader.

The program marks a strategic expansion for ZBTI, moving from single-institution cooperation to a network of 12 partner institutions, and from student exchanges to faculty development. As 2026 serves as a pivotal year for the institute's Indonesia Silk Road College, ZBTI is accelerating its transition from cultural exchange to quality-driven educational export, contributing Chinese vocational education standards to ASEAN countries.
